JR Mentions Jeff Hardy In Latest Blog
Published by Kris on February 18, 2012 0 Comments
Jim Ross briefly mentioned Jeff in his latest blog entry for JRsBarBQ.com. Below is what good ol' JR had to say:

Will Jeff Hardy ever be back in WWE? My absolute guess would be no. At best, highly unlikely. TNA's schedule likely fits Jeff best. I still remember his bout on TV vs the Undertaker. Great, WWE TV moment.

Jeff Hardy vs. Bobby Rood for the World Heavyweight Championship
89 Captures | 2 Digitals | Match
Back from the break, Brandon Jacobs from the Super Bowl winning New York Giants is shown with Mike Straka from Spike’s ‘MMA Uncensored Live.’

Jeff Hardy makes his entrance in some half-face paint and walks down the ramp with his eyes closed and eyelids painted before getting serious and jumping Roode in the Ring. Hardy goes on some quick offense, running through him with clotheslines and his leg drop into Roode’s groin. Roode gets the upper hand for a second before Hardy sends him over the top and hesitates before diving over the top rope for a cross body. A replay is shown and then Hardy sends a chair into Roode’s ribs and then his back. Tenay puts over Brian Hebner for not starting a count (the match apparently has count outs) and Hardy sends Roode into the guardrail, head-first into the apron and head-first into the steel steps. Roode is able to block a second shot into the ring steps and Hardy is able to block a suplex twice before connecting with one himself.

The Odds Seem Stacked Against Hardy
149 Captures | 9 Digitals | Backstage Interview | Match
The show opens with Hardy being shown arriving to the arena. The cameraman attempts to ask Hardy a couple of questions, but Hardy simply walks by and ignores the questions.

Backstage Interview
Tenay sends it backstage to Christy Hemme who is backstage with Jeff Hardy. Hardy says his back and neck have seen better days, but he and the enigmas see gold. He’s feeling lucky. He calls to the creatures to mount up before it’s sent to a video package for Styles/Kazarian.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Robert Roode vs. James Storm vs. Bully Ray vs. Jeff Hardy

We get a video package looking at all four men competing in the World Title match tonight. Each man gets a decent amount of interview time, with footage of them interacting interspersed. Tenay and JB run down the “Tale of the Tape”, showing some quick key stats for each man, and previewing some of the elements of tonight’s match, including the inclusion of Sting as special enforcer.
